Refund policy

All Policies below apply to items purchased from our online store(s). (Does not apply to our physical store purchases.)

30 Day Return Policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return for website credit. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. You WILL have to get written approval from us prior to shipping anything back to us, otherwise we reserve the right not to accept delivery.

Please understand that items may not be returned if they have been assembled, so please be sure that you approve of your item(s) prior to assembling them.  In addition, when returning an item please understand that any shipping fees paid by us to get your item to you will be deducted from your store credit.  Also, you will be responsible for the fees required to return the item to us.  There may be a re-stocking fee of 15-25% as our discretion.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at sales@gottahaveitinc.com. Please note that the return address for any authorized returns will be given to the customer after the return authorization is complete.

There are some situations where there are definitively NO RETURNS such as:

  • SPECIAL ORDER CUSHIONS
  • SPECIAL ORDER PRODUCTS
  • CLEARANCE Items
  • Scratch N Dent Items
  • Items without their original packaging
  • Items that have been partially or fully assembled
  • Items where we have agreed in writing that they will not be returnable
  • Gift Cards
  • Items with damaged packaging received by the customer without making the necessary notation on the trucking paperwork. (see Handling Deliveries- Customer Responsibility)

Handling Deliveries- Customer's Responsibility

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Handling Ground Deliveries 

If someone is home and accepts a ground delivery from typical sources such as UPS Ground or FedEx Ground they must inspect the number of packages and inspect the packages for any visible signs of damage and note in writing with the driver the problem(s).  Failure to do so may result in an inability to make proper amends for the discrepancy.

Handling Freight Deliveries

Freight deliveries usually involve larger trucks often known as Tractor-Trailer Trucks.  This type of delivery is usually used when a delivery consists of large items or a large number of items. These items are generally palletized and require a lift gate for residential delivery due to the fact that most residences do not have a loading dock.  IF your items are being shipped Freight we will let you know who your carrier is and the PRO# which is a tracking number.  You can expect that the Freight Carrier will contact you to schedule a date and time window for the delivery.  You will need to have someone present to accept the delivery within the delivery window.  The Freight Carrier is responsible for getting your items off of the back of the truck and onto your driveway. You MUST inspect the number of packages and inspect for any visible signs of damage that may have occurred during the shipment.  You MUST make a written note of this damage with the driver.  We recommend bringing your cell phone with you to document the state of your items while the driver is there.

 

 

 


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
